Lisa Cala Ruud joined our dynamic leadership team at Hoosic Valley on January 6th. She is an experienced K12 building and district level leader. In addition to her work in schools, Lisa served as a leader at the North Eastern Regional Information Center (NERIC) as well as a provost for curriculum and instructional technology in higher education. She is passionate about designing active spaces for learning, utilizing data to individualize student supports and mobilizing teams to innovate.
In collaboration with the leadership team, department chairs, curriculum coordinators and IT staff, Lisa will focus first on the following initiatives:
- The technology plan and Smart Schools Bond
- Response to Intervention [RTI]
- Instructional Support Team [IST]
- Benchmarking
- The Responsive Classroom
