Jazz alert! We’d love to see you this Saturday at noon: Diver Library presents a special Jazz Appreciation Month performance by the Most Jazzy Fellas. Featuring Max Caplan (piano), Mike Novakowski (guitar), Brad Monkell (bass), and Nathan Schied (drums).

Made possible by the Music Performance Trust Fund, the American Federation of Musicians Local 14, and the Jim Clark Community Performance Fund.

The Diver Library Board of Trustees asks you to join them in congratulating our Library Director, Nick Matulis, on his 10 year anniversary with Diver! Nick has brought energy and commitment to Diver with creativity, passion, and a dedication that has built a supportive and inclusive environment for our community. Our patrons encounter a compassionate listener and a knowledgeable guide when walking through the door in their search for information, resources, or a favorite author.

Nick also brings a unique opportunity to Diver’s patrons with his gift of creating music, offering participants the chance to turn thoughts and words into lyrics and songs with his “Let’s Make a Song” program. Nick’s investment in this program has made it an inspiring experience for writers to tell their stories through music and we couldn’t be prouder of what Nick has created.

Our trustees thank Nick for his years with Diver, for building the wonderful team we have to serve our patrons, and for the programs he leads, reinventing how our library serves the community. We look forward to all Nick and his team will bring us in the future!

Tune in to WEXT to hear original songs all written and recorded by Schaghticoke locals at Diver Library over the summer of ‘23. The album, ”All Together Now”, will be played on 97.7 & 106.1 fm (or streamed online at wextradio.org) Saturday, March 2nd at 4pm! The broadcast will include interviews with the artists and our director, Nick Matulis. Special thanks to our friend WEXT DJ Chris Wienk for the airtime!
