The Hoosic Valley Chess Club began Monday October 7th in the High School Library. Twelve students have signed-up, who all have a variety of skill levels in chess. There are 3 advanced players, 4 intermediate players and 5 beginner players. The students voted on officers and the results were: President: Corey Snyder and Vice President: Gus Adamo. The format of the club consists of student-driven play and tournaments. Any questions or want to join, see club advisor Ms. Long. We will be meeting Mondays 13th period in the High School Library.
