The elementary school started their Character Counts assemblies today with a short assembly for students reminding students what Character Counts is all about. Respect and treasure our uniqueness – You are the only one that can be U!
The Grade 2-4 program featured our teachers reading thoughts from Unstoppable Me by by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer & Kristina Tracy. Topics were:

- Persistence Pays Off!
- Welcome the Unknown!
- You Have a Choice
- Peace Begins with You
- Enjoy the Here and Now
- Farewell to Worry
- Healthy Me!
- Creativity is the Key!
- What Can You Give
PK-1 program featured It’s Hard to Be Five by Jamie Lee Curtis and Laura Cornell. Even five year olds face challenges and have to make hard choices at times. At Character Counts, we will learn ways to help stay calm, solve problems, and treat others the way we want to be treated.
